BuyMobilePhones.net will expand its web development department and look to tap into tablet sector

Derby based BuyMobilePhones.net will expand its web development department as it looks to grow its business.

The company which was ranked at number one in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 after posting sales growths of over 340 per cent since 2006 will also look to take advantage of the growing tablet sector.

Speaking to Mobile News BuyMobilePhones.net marketing manager Jamie Tomlinson said constant focus on improving its website was vital to move the company forward.

“We’re currently working on revamping our existing website to improve the user experience for our customers,” Tomlinson said.

“We’re also developing a dedicated tablet PC section on there, due to the increasing popularity of these devices.

“Over the summer we’re hoping to expand our development department as well, as part of the company’s continued growth.”

Meanwhile BuyMobilePhones.net owner Paul Sisson (pictured right) has collected the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 for fastest growing company from Virgin founder Sir Richard Branson (pictured left).

The award was handed over at a private ceremony on June 7 at Branson’s home in Oxfordshire.

Speaking after the ceremony Sisson said: “I’m very proud of the achievement. It is testament to the hard work that all the staff put in to make sure we are second-to-none with our product offering, and our customer service.”
