Archos Arnova 7 Drops By FCC

The FCC, source of a thousand hardware reveals, has just taken a good long look at Archos’s newest budget offering in the increasingly crowded Android tablet field. We have to admit that at first glance Archos has managed to cram an impressive amount of computing in a €99 device. Sure, a 7-incher boasting Android 2.2 and an 800480 display is nowhere near the bleeding edge, but the slightly damp edge is more than enough for some.

As always, FCC sketches leave just about everything to the imagination, so apart from the curved edges there’s not much to take in styling-wise. If there’s Flash support to go with that Froyo and some decent silicone in there, this might be worth more than the cursory look its budget status would seem to condemn it to.
