HTC Sensation, Galaxy S 2, iPhone 4 Spec Comparison

As with all smartphone that are heading for the public mobile space they get compared to what other smartphone have to offer, usually in the form of a video, but with the new smartphone from HTC, the HTC Sensation, the specs have been compared without actual video footage.

Thus the guys over at TechRader have compared the HTC Sensation to the iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S 2 in a written article rather than video, actually I prefer spec comparisons done in video form but there you go.

So what are the differences between the three smartphones? Well obviously the main difference is two are Android devices while the other is iOS, both the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S 2 run Android 2.3 Gingerbread while the iPhone 4 runs iOS 4.3, fairly obvious really.

Processor wise both Android handsets sport a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon while the iPhone 4 has a 1GHz processor. Display wise, the HTC Sensation has a Super LCD while the Samsung Galaxy S 2 has a Super AMOLED Plus display and the iPhone 4 as I’m sure you know has a Retina Display/

Storage wise the Sensation has 1GB, which is expandable, while the Galaxy S 2 and the iPhone 4 has 16GB or 32GB although the Galaxy S 2 offers microSD expansion and the iPhone 4 doesn’t.

Camera wise the iPhone 4 loses out here with its 5 megapixel camera while both Android devices offer an 8megapixel snapper and the Galaxy S 2 can do 1080p while the iPhone does 720p video.

Other areas covered in the comparison are connectivity, memory, weight and dimensions, talk and standby times, which you can of course check out by visiting their website. Which device comes out tops? Well is there any point on having a winner as the iOS faithful will always say the iPhone is better, and likewise the Android faithful, so I’ll leave you to make up your own mind.
