Retailer launches new websites to increase customer base and increase revenue globally
Online retailer Expansys has launched its new website which has been revamped with “transformational” improvements as the company looks to increase revenues from online sales.
Expansys says it has upgraded the design, layout, core proposition and functionality of it UK website and the same improvements will also be rolled out to its 50 international web stores.
As well as the new layout, Expansys has also launched a mobile optimised version of its websites to increase sales from this sector of the market.
Expansys says its analysis of its customers shows that about 10 per cent of visitors to its sites do so via a mobile device – an increase from one per cent two years ago.
Commenting on the launch Expansys chief executive Anthony Catterson (pictured) said: “This is the biggest change in the way our customers interact online with Expansys since the business started 13 years ago.
“Our new site combines cutting edge design with a great proposition that provides our customers with a simple to use, informative experience.”
