HP ‘Opal’ webOS Tablet coming to Rogers, Bell in September

It’s no secret that HP will be launching a webOS tablet in February. What we didn’t know, however, was there were several models of it, and based on this leaked screenshot sent over to Engadget, one of which will be headed to Canada, to Rogers and Bell to be exact.

Called the Opal, this particular version of the HP webOS tablet comes with 3G connectivity and reportedly sports a 7-inch display. It runs on a 1.2GHz processor, and also features a front-facing camera, a 3-speaker set-up, and microUSB port. More importantly, thanks to the info provided by the leaked document we now have, we now know it’s set to arrive sometime in September.

As for its pricing and the rest of its specs, well, we’ll just have to wait for February to arrive to get more info on these, or new leaks to surface, whichever comes first. Regardless, we can now definitely add this HP webOS tablet to the growing number of tablets we can look forward to arrive in Canada later this year.
