Android T-Mobile G2 Goes Free

If you are in the market for an Android smartphone and don’t wish to hand over too much cash up front you just might like to know that you can now purchase the T-Mobile G2 Android device from T-Mobile as a free handset.

According to an article over on Tmonews, T-Mobile.com has now dropped the asking price of the |T-Mobile G2 down to zero as a “web only” deal, and let’s face it free is far better than paying right?

The suggested retail price for the T-Mobile G2 is $499.99 and you get an instant discount of $250 followed by that web only discount of $249.99 pulling the price way down to absolutely free although you will of course need to sign on for 2 years.

Detail wise the T-Mobile G2 measures 4.7 x 2.4 x 0.6 inches and weighs in at 6.5 ounces and sports a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, 5 mega pixel auto-focus camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, micros SD expansion, Android OS and a 3.5mm jack.

So now that the T-Mobile G2 is available as a free smartphone does this make you want to pick up the device or are you holding out for some other handset to hit the free zone?
