RIM BlackBerry Curve Apollo Specs Revealed

Keeping with BlackBerry, another Research In Motion gets some detail today in the form of the next generation BlackBerry Curve which has a codename of Apollo, so we’ll call it the BlackBerry Curve Apollo for now.

The juicy details of the BlackBerry Curve Apollo come our way courtesy of Jonathan S. Geller, over at the Boy Genius Report , and those juicy specifications for the device are as follows…

The BlackBerry Curve Apollo is quad-band GSMGPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSPA 7.2Mbps, a 480 x 360 HVGA screen, 5 mega pixel camera with flash, Tavor MG-1 800MHz CPU, NFC, capability, 512MB eMMC RAM, 512MB RAM and BlackBerry 6.1 OS.

Other stuff includes GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 1050mAh battery and apparently is a tad thicker than the BlackBerry Dakota, measuring 11mm thick.

Again no word on when we are likely to see the BlackBerry Curve Apollo hit store shelves or what price tag the RIM device may command but as soon as we hear we’ll let you know.
