At CES, Oregon Scientific is showcasing the ATC9K All-Terrain Video Camera designed for use in rugged conditions such as extreme sports and extreme weather conditions. The camera is rather large and can be mounted to a helmet camera or even a surfboard for HD video recording.
The camera records full color 1080 x 720p HD video directly to a MicroSD card with a Field of View (FOV) of 135 degrees for ultra wide angles. Built-in 1.5″ LCD is available for playback and review, while a G-Sensor measures real time G-Force effects on the camera. The camera is available now and retails at $299.99 with free shipping.
