The first press shots of the forthcoming HP Veer webOS smartphone have surfaced. The webOS 2.1 based smart device is slated for a Spring launch and now features a two tone paint scheme a la the iPhone 3GS. Aside from the paint scheme, proof of “4G” support is now apparent with the appearance of the “H+” icon on the homescreen, denoting support for AT&T’s faster data network overlay as announced in January. Reports have the Veer launch set for a launch this week, but nothing has been definitively confirmed by either AT&T or HP at this time.
