A round-up of deals available from mobile retailers online and on the high street
CARPHONE
There’s a BlackBerry price crash at The Carphone Warehouse. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 (pictured) is now available for 27 a month on O2, with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of BlackBerry data; the BlackBerry Curve 3G is available for 15.50 a month, also on O2, coming with 100 minutes and 500 texts. Customers can add 100MB of monthly data for an additional 3 a month. There is also 100 knocked off the prepay price of the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini and Samsung Galaxy Apollo. The X10 Mini now costs 99.95, with the Galaxy Apollo now available for 79.95.
PHONES 4U
The Samsung Galaxy S II has arrived at Phones 4U. It is free on a 30 a month Vodafone contract, which comes with 300 minutes, 3,000 texts, 500MB of data and a Samsung 8GB memory card. The HTC Desire S can now be picked up without an upfront charge, for 21.50 a month, on an O2 deal that offers 100 minutes, 500 texts and 500MB of data. Customers can also receive 75 in cashback by redemption.
O2
There are a range of voucher incentives being offered by O2 this month in selected deals. Anyone signing up to one of its 12-month Simplicity SIM-only plans will receive a 50 voucher to one of a number of high-street stores, including Marks & Spencer, Next, Debenhams, Topshop, Topman, Burton and Miss Selfridge. In addition, those buying the Nokia C3-012 on prepay for 129.99 will receive a 25 Sunglasses Hut voucher.
FONEHOUSE
The retailer is offering a 120GB PS3 Slim for anyone opting for the HTC Wildfire in white on a T-Mobile deal, which offers 900 minutes, 500 texts and a ‘flexible booster’. Customers can also register their interest in the Samsung Galaxy S II by completing a pre-order form. Fonehouse is yet to announce price and tariff details for this handset.
T-MOBILE
The Samsung Tocco Icon and Samsung Chat 335 are both part of a special prepay deal that will see the buyer receive 100 anytime minutes if they top-up by 10 in a calendar month. The Tocco Icon, which also comes with 30 days of free mobile web worth 5, is priced at 89.99, while the Chat 335 costs 79.99.
BUYMOBILEPHONES
The online retailer has received stock of the Samsung Galaxy S II (pictured). It is available for free on a 30 a month contract from Three, which offers 900 minutes, 5,000 texts and 1GB of data. Customers will also receive free Skypeto- Skype calls and Windows Live Messenger. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is available for 3 a month less on an O2 300 deal, with 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB of data, 20 picture messages, and UK Wi-Fi via the Cloud and BT Openzone.
