Expansys appoints new CFO and head of US operations

Former Flomerics Group finance director Chris Ogle takes on CFO role, while chief operating office Tim Eltze will become head of US operations

Online retailer Expansys has appointed former Flomerics Group, group finance director Chris Ogle as its chief financial officer.

Ogle has 25 years of experience in finance and has most recently been working as a consultant advising amongst others, international calling card supplier Nomi Call Limited.

While at Flomerics, a developer of analysis software for manufacturers of electronics, Ogle was tasked with growing its international presence in 12 countries and led significant acquisitions in Hungary and Germany.

Speaking about Ogle’s appointment Expansys chief executive Anthony Catterson said he would be tasked with improving the groups financial efficiency across its global estate.

Expansys is trading directly in fifty countries around the world today and we are committed to growing our international markets, improving financial efficiency across the group and creating value for shareholders.

“Chris has a track record of delivering on those challenges previously and we look forward to working with him.”

The Manchester based company has also announced the appointment of Tim Eltze has president of its US operations.

Formerly Expansys chief operating officer, Eltze will head upthe retailers push into the SIM distribution market in the US, where it recently signed a distribution agreement with T-Mobile USA.
