Orange today announced the launch of a new marketing campaign to raise awareness of its great value home broadband plans. The Orange broadband ‘No Tricks Just Treats’ campaign has been developed to highlight broadband fears faced by customers and compare them against the transparent pricing, and great rewards you get as an Orange home broadband customer. It supports Orange’s renewed focus on making its home broadband service, best in class, and is the first significant marketing campaign lead by Broadband Marketing Director, Sylvain Thevenot.
With Orange home broadband, customers are given just one monthly price – that doesn’t include any hidden ‘tricks’ like extra usage charges for exceeding download limits, high connection fees and headline advertised prices that do not portray the actual monthly fee. Orange customers also get to benefit from no connection fees, 2-for-1 cinema tickets with Orange Wednesdays, and a 20 HMV voucher for new customers on signing up. Not only this, but Orange mobile customers receive a further 5 off their monthly bill, and new customers will also receive the first three months free – reinforcing Orange’s best value UK home broadband and calls plans.
‘No Tricks Just Treats’ is a disruptive online campaign designed by Orange’s digital creative agency, Poke, to raise consumer awareness of areas to consider before signing-up with a new broadband provider. The campaign centres around a newly created microsite where new customers can learn more about the tricks in the industry and easily find out details on the clear prices and simple plans available to them from Orange.
‘No Tricks Just Treats’ will be promoted across a range of consumer lifestyle and price comparison sites as well as via social media, all diving people to the microsite. As well as the digital drive, it will also be highlighted to Orange mobile customers through direct mail and in Orange retail shops across the UK.
Sylvain Thevenot, Marketing Director, Orange Home Broadband, said: “With so many different price plans and packages available in the market, it’s important that consumers get to see exactly what they are paying for upfront without falling prey to hidden charges further down the line.
We’re committed to being as transparent as possible with our broadband price plans, so ‘No Tricks Just Treats’ forms part of a wider commitment by us to our customers.
