After the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S 4G on T-Mobile, here’s another new Galaxy S smartphone joining the flock, the Samsung Galaxy SL i9003.
Looking like a long lost twin of the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate on Telus, this one, however, sports a 4-inch Super Clear LCD touchscreen as opposed to the traditional AMOLED display. On a good note, though, it does come with more juice on its battery (1650mAh) and preloaded with Android 2.2 as its default OS. There’s also a minor (or major depending on how you look at it) change under the hood. Instead of a Hummingbird processor, this baby now runs on a TI OMAP 3630 CPU. It’s still a 1GHz chip. It’s just a different maker.
Not sure yet if this will land in the North American market, but for those who want more info on this, you can view it at Samsung Mobile’s Middle East Asia website.
