James Livesley replaces James Blackman as editor of Mobile News, as latter takes role with Chinese manufacturer Huawei
Mobile News has appointed a new editor. James Livesley (pictured) will take over from James Blackman who is leaving to take up a management role with Chinese equipment manufacturer Huawei.
Livesley has been working in Australia for the last three and a half years for B&T magazine, produced by Reed Business Information.
“James Blackman has done a superb job in the editor’s chair for the last four years and has moved Mobile News into new areas such as unified comms and consolidated its reputation as the market-leading title. We are sorry to lose him but wish him all the best,” said Mobile News editorial director Ian White.
Livesley said: “Taking on the role of editor of Mobile News is a hugely exciting and challenging proposition. I look forward to maintaining and developing its position as the essential read for those in the mobile industry.”
