This morning during its press event dedicated to Android, Google has officially unveiled and opened its new web-based Android Market portal with over the air installs now possible after purchases are made. Along with the new portal, multiple devices can now be tied to one account and managed with nicknames to better manage application libraries and app installs across devices.
In related news, Google has announced future support for in-app purchases within Android applications, with the requisite SDK for the feature rolling out to developers later today and general availability for the SDK is planned for the end of the quarter.
