Yahoo Has its Own Handset

Google has Android and Microsoft has Windows Mobile. It would make sense if Yahoo would also follow the trend of having its own mobile phone company, sharing something new to customers, and options for more alternatives. Yahoo has produced its first phone in the Land of the Rising Sun, coming from the Sharp Aquos 009SH, which has some exclusive stuff, apps, and other things Yahoo such as Auctions, Home, Mail, Messenger, and others you could think of.

Speaking hardware-wise, the phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4-inch LCD touch screen with qHD resolution, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. Its storage can be expanded via a MicroSD slot, even giving way for other functions such as WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, Infrared connection, an e-wallet, and even has its own TV tuner for bored travelers. It is expected that techno lovers in Japan will have the new Yahoo offering sometime third or fourth week of September.
