This week in Japan, Sharp has introduced a new pill called Sharp RW-T107, complete with a near field communication reader (NFC). The NFC reader who is believed to be the first to be integrated into a tablet, can be used in stores to read the membership cards, badges, loyalty cards, coupons, special offers and more.
As the only NFC player of the new tablet runs Android gingerbread and is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen with micro USB, headphone jack and HDMI connections and a new SIM card slot.Currently-T107 Sharp RW Tablet Android is only being released in Japan and Sharp have not revealed if the pill are further in the present. 5000-T107 Sharp RW units will arrive in Japan on September 6, unfortunately, no detailed specifications or prices have not yet been revealed by Sharp.
