Tom Alexander voted personality of the year

Everything Everywhere chief tops poll with 18.82 per cent of the vote, ahead of HSC’s Bob Sweetlove and Vodafone Enterprise’s Peter Kelly

Everything Everywhere Chief executive Tom Alexander (pictured) won the Mobile News Industry Personality of the Year Award at The Hilton on Park Lane yesterday.

Alexander polled 18.82 per cent of the live table vote registered by more than 860 guests pressing a voting button each on 170 remote handsets.

Runner-up was HSC business manager Bob Sweetlove (18.57 per cent) who nudged Vodafone Enterprise director Peter Kelly into third place (18.32 per cent).

The rest of the field comprised of Data Select’s Roy Taylor (15.56 per cent), O2′s Ben Dowd (12.42 per cent), 20:20 Mobile’s James Browning (8.03 per cent), Brightstar’s Rod Millar (5.40 per cent), and Daisy Communications Matthew Riley (2.89 per cent).
