Those that have jailbroken their iOS device probably know all about the TinyUmbrella utility, but for those that don’t, TinyUmbrella is a tool for saving SHSH blobs that are necessary when you wish to downgrade your iPhone to a previous version of iOS.
According to an article over on iPhone Download Blog, @notcom, the developer behind the firmware umbrella tool has now updated TionyUmbrella for Windows and Mac with the new update bringing support for iOS 4.3 GM.
For those iPhone users that wish to grab the updated version of TinyUmbrella, version 4.21.13 you can do so by hitting up The Firmware Umbrella, connect your device by USB to your computer and launch TinyUmbrella and then hit the “Save SHSH” button.
Although currently many iPhone users may not care about saving SHSH blobs, if you wish to jailbreak your iPhone sometime further down the line it is highly recommended your iOS device SHSH blobs are saved as without the SHSH blobs you can’t downgrade the device’s iOS version.
