HTC Droid Incredible 2 users do not need to be sad, getting envious from most users enjoying the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS that present better and faster navigation, plus additional soup ups to the phone. Customers no longer need to worry about being too techie on processing the update with some computer downloading or custom uploading, since the official Gingerbread download can be done via an OTA process. The update 2.18.605.4 promises better performance, focused fixes, and additional applications for an improved HTC Droid experience.
The update will address situations on mobile Instant Messaging performance making transitions and response time better, synchronization issues with Hotmail has been fixed, and device connects quicker on various networks via HSDPA, WiFi, or 3G. It also adds a built-in browser for the New York Times, an option to use wireless charging services, and it even has a new desktop dock application for files and data transferred on both PC and phone.
